Embed Link

Want to paste a link to a verse into your e-mail or IM? It's easy.

When looking at a bible verse, passage, or even a full chapter, there is a bible navigation tool bar displayed right above it. Click the "Embed" link. The first option displayed, "Embed Link," provides a link to the page you are on. You can copy and paste it right into your e-mail or web page. All major e-mail clients will automatically turn that text into a hot-linked reference for you.

Want to embed the actual verse into your web page, blog, or website? It's easy.

When looking at a bible verse, passage, or even a full chapter, there is a bible navigation tool bar displayed right above it. Click the "Embed" link. The second option displayed, "Embed verse," provides html to display just the bible verse(s) you are currently viewing. This will provide the exact bible text properly formatted. Expert users can even go in and change the basic formatting if they so desire.

This method will provide you with a live display of the bible verse(s) and a hotlink to associated commentary.
